Appealing to Ethos
Throughout my website and my public blog posts, I could appeal to ethos through videos or advocacy from groups and celebrities who advocate for safe marijuana use. Seth Rogan is a celebrity who is very public about his marijuana use, but few also know that he has a company called Houseplant that advocates for safe consumption of cannabis. I would love to somehow incorporate or refer to him throughout my website.
Appealing to Logos
I could also appeal to logos through the credibility of medical data and research. Since my audience is geared toward predominantly college students, it would be useful to gather statistics and infographics from sites that are more popularly known and trusted. The information shared would need to be broken down enough as to not overwhelm or turn the reader away while still presenting a reasonable amount of information
Appealing to Pathos
Similarly, I could appeal to Pathos through fear of discussing the potentials for overdose when consuming extremely harmful drugs such as fentanyl. I think it would be useful to also address the harmful effects or consequences of what can happen to the human body physically and generally after surviving an overdose or being addicted to potent drugs such as fentanyl.
